Gift Ideas

Well, as you know, gifts are a really good idea. *ouch*

Since I've delivered a few in my day, you can consider me your resident expert. One tip to be aware of -- don't say you'll deliver any item that's ticking. Not even if you brother (or his wizard) asks you to. Not even to the girl of your dreams. Things don't usually turn out so well if you do. Believe me.

Anyway -- here's this month's suggestions:

• For that really hard-to-buy-for person on your list, I suggest a gift certificate to the Sword & Skull. It's a very popular tavern and restaurant near my home. Your loved one can enjoy a friendly game of Arm Death, have a Crawler or two, and hang out with some really interesting people.
   
• Weather vanes are always popular. Well, maybe not in Baaldorf anymore. But in other parts or Aperans they're a really hot item. Well, not with a unicorn on them -- that's sort of passé now.
   
• Cheese sandwiches -- a classic gift that's sure to please everyone's palate. All varieties of cheese are good. Like Blue Mountain Goat Cheese. That's a nice one. And the cheese at that quaint, little tavern I took Princess Ariel to once. And then there's the sharp cheddar at the Wild Rose Tavern....
