I also really love dressing up - especially for things like Renaissance Faires and Halloween. (Which are pretty much the few times no one wonders how strange you might be for appearing in costume and affecting an accent for an entire day.)
I've always liked messing about with makeup and had a few theatre classes over the years that taught me what you can do with it. And, since I was a kid I've dressed up as a vampire, which explains my custom made vampire teeth. (John, wherever you are, thanks a bunch! It was worth all the drooling.) I've also dressed as other creatures and things as well. Enjoy!

Me vamping it up in the '70s. I think the haircut and glasses are *way* more scary than
the fake plastic fangs, don't you?

As Peter Criss (original drummer for the rock group KISS). I think this was from
my sophmore year in high school.

As a "Dead Thing" for a Come-As-You-Aren't party in high school. Friends of mine
went as angels. ;-)

Same basic costume as above, just different makeup.

As Radar (with bear) from M*A*S*H - this was for a campus dress-up day.

My version of a Cats costume, complete with velcro-attached tail.

Same costume, different year. You can't see them very well, but I have fishing-line
"whiskers" in this shot. They were a bugger to put on and take off. Ouchie!

As Indiana Jones. Yes, I was *very* smitten with the character. Wish I still had
that official movie hat!

As a guard/warrior from the movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I had
enough scrap metal bits, weapons and old athletic padding on that I literally
got stuck on other people at the college party this outfit was made for. I'm
sure it had nothing to do with the alcohol. ;-)

As another show character I was smitten with - Sonny Crockett. Actually, this is
the sort of stuff everyone wore back in the Miami Vice era days. And yes,
I had a pink shirt, too. And the soundtracks. And the calendars. You get the
picture...

This costume is based on my first Wizards and Warriors fanfic character.

This is the best I could do with cleaning up this pix. You can sort of see my
vampire canines, right?
